Ford road is in terrible condition with potholes being filled in almost weekly do to large lorries being allowed to drive down this road. Our property 9Ford Farm, Ford Road) is circa 400 years old and the vibrations being caused by these large lorries combined with the road cracking up and multiple pot holes and temp repairs is starting to cause damage to my protected property due to the age of the house and being of architectural significance. There are 2 factors at play, A) having the very large lorries use such a quiet and historical road, combined with all the cracking up the road is doing and all the temp fixes that have been made which last just a couple of weeks at best. I do not want to have to start making claims for damage done to my property due to the council not maintaining the road in addition to allowing such large lorries to use the road. I would suggest coming in from Guildford road, accessing ford road to completly resurfaced and not just a load of temp pot hole filling in addition to questioning if large lorries should even be allowed to use the road. It is not right that a 400 year property is being damaged due to lack of maintenance of the road.
