• A small tree has blown over , allowing very little room to get by without stepping in the road. I reported something very similar a couple of months ago. I am not sure if this is the same and it hasn't been fixed, or a newer occurrence. Very dangerous, especially as school children use this route.

• The stretch of the Fortyfoot Road road between Epsom Road and Albert House has been mis-labelled as "Private". It is NOT Private. It is in dire condition. Occasionally, someone has come out to repair the odd pothole, but to a scandalously shoddy standard so it reverts to war-zone status within months. The private stretch is clearly marked, and that stretch of FortyFoot road has been resurfaced to a high standard. The stretch in question is dangerous, especially considering how poor the condition of the pavement alongside is as well. This needs urgent attention. Council vehicles trundle up and down this stretch every day, contributing to the damage. It is a danger to people walking, in addition to cyclists and motorists. PLEASE do not come back with the standard "this is a private road, nothing to do with us" response.
