Build up of slippery limescale type deposit

Reported via iOS anonymously at 22:41, Friday 10 January 2025

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

There are now two areas of slippery raised limestone type calcification on the bricks in the precinct at Heatherside which are now a dangerous trip hazard to pedestrians particularly the elderly who may not notice how raised they are and as they are wet they are like walking on ice. The area is on the direct walkway from Sainsburys round to the Pharmacy.

Although this is being caused by water dripping onto the block paving the Council are liable for the safety of the surface for pedestrians.

This has gone on for far too long as is evident by the amount of calcification.
