Driven over council verge onto pavement

Reported via desktop in the Damaged, missing or loose kerb higher than 20mm category anonymously at 12:29, Saturday 4 January 2025

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Damage to verge and pavement from heavy vehicle. Kerb cracked, manhole cover driven over and damaged (in verge). This pavement is used by a high footfall of children walking to Ashley First School, since parking was increased in the road limiting the turning area at the Ashley Park Crescent entrance, large vehicles now frequently mount the kerb and pavement endangering those walking on the pavement. Bollards are needed to protect pedestrians from such vehicles before an accident occurs.
