Persistent flooding with potholes

Reported via mobile in the Part of the road or pavement is flooded category anonymously at 10:19, Sat 21 December 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

As the council is well aware the flooding on this road is persistent and deteriorating every year. It masks potholes and means it’s unsafe to traverse the road by bicycle (preferred). Locals in the area have reported tyre and wheel damage as a result.

I have noticed there are now closed road signs up. I’d expect works to be underway if the road is closed, but this doesn’t seem to be the case, so perhaps the signage has been erected to avoid liability for further damage.

Please could you confirm you’re aware of the issue and provide details on what’s being done to resolve the flooding in this area?
