Pathway access impeded by build up of soil and vegetation

Reported via desktop anonymously at 14:55, Wed 4 December 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

The railway bridge on the B411 has recently been cleared of overgrowing vegetation allow easy and safe access for walkers on this small stretch. But the pathways either side of the bridge are narrowed due to the build up of many years leaf drop, causing a build up of soil which has then been inhabited by sting nettles, brambles and grasses. These are cut back once a year but because they are not cleared, obviously grow back. Apart from making this pathway dangerous due to the now narrowness and the chance of being stung or scratched by unfriendly plants. The build up of soil and leaves also contributes to the blocking of the road drains, which in turn results in flooded pathways outside the entrance to Frimley Lodge Park.
