Big pothole, destroyed two of my tyres on passenger side.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on a road - More than 150mm wide and more than 40mm deep category by Nicholas Hart at 00:22, Saturday 30 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

I was turning right from Tandridge Lane into New Road. There are some potholes on the carriageway of New Lane, my car's wheels on the passenger side went into the potholes, and both passenger-side tyres were punctured.

  • Awaiting inspection - inspection due within 5 working days

Posted by Surrey County Council at 00:22, Saturday 30 November 2024

  • This was reported on 30th November, and Surrey said this was due to be inspected within 5 working days, but 8 working days have passed and no apparent progress has been made. The wet weather means the potholes have filled with water making them harder to see, as they look just like puddles, but are much more dangerous.
