A tree fell onto my partners car

Whilst driving past the park a tree fell onto my partners car while she was driving it smashing the car and writing it off. The tree had previously been reported multiple times to be checked for having signs of rotting. My partners car was written off and since the accident she has had anxiety issues and back pains from this. It was so close to being a fatal accident .
