Blocked drains on A281

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

The heavy rains last night (26 November 2024) have resulted in flooding on the a281 near the junction with Chantry View Road. The flooding has been caused by blocked and inadequate drainage that should permit drainage towards the floodplain lying to the west of the A281. This has been a long-standing problem but highlighted most notably during heavy rains such as those of last night.
