Blaze Lorry reversed into driveway killing my cat

Reported via mobile in the Concern about speeding traffic category anonymously at 09:54, Wed 27 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council 5 minutes later.

On the 20th November my 12 year old cat was run over and killed when a very large lorry (with Blaze written on the side) reversed from Ockham Road, East Horsley, into our driveway to turn around. It is the final straw. I have put up with the endless noise from HGV’s speeding along Ockham Road. I’ve put up with broken pavements along Ockham Road, meaning my husband can no longer use them. My cat being needlessly run over though is just the final straw. I agree with change and the need to build new homes but why are we allowing East Horsley to become a rat run for HGVs
