Dangerous kerb

Reported via desktop in the Damaged, missing or loose kerb higher than 20mm category anonymously at 11:51, Thu 21 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Since the Avenue had extra parking bays marked, vehicles cannot now safely turn in the turning area at the opening to Ashley Park Crescent. As a result lorry’s which use the road daily are mounting the pavements, kerbs and damaging the installed bollards. This section of pavement is heavily used by a large number of children walking to and from Ashley First school who are now in danger from these large vehicles trying to manoeuvre unsafely. Please could you fix the bollards and kerbs / pavements so ensure the safety of pedestrians and the frontage of adjacent houses which maybe damaged should a lorry reverse into their boundary walls. This damage was done this morning after repeated other damage since the road was re marked.
