Traffic sensors not effective

Reported via desktop in the Poor operation or delays category anonymously at 16:43, Mon 11 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Cars often stop short of the traffic light sensor. This happens from "The Crescent" direction and "church street" heading North. Cars stop and wait, but the lights don't turn as they have not triggered the sensor in the road. Our office looks down onto these lights and this happens multiple times a day. We have regularly had to go out of our office to tell the car at the front to move up to the white line. Just having a sensor is not adequate.
