Over grown hedges

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown hedge blocking pavement category anonymously at 13:52, Wednesday 6 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

The cycle/walking path along the A320 from Woodlands close al the way to Brox road is unwalkable in parts. The hedges have overgrown, there are creeper plants extending across a 1.5m path narrowing it to <50cm. As a cyclist it is not possible to cycle safely (especially with pedestrians using the path at the same time). The leaf debris has not been cleared making it very slippery, and in one section the fence has collapsed onto the path. If this is not fully cleared before the cold weather comes, there is high probability of injuries. Please keep in mind many of the resident who use this path are elderly and unable to access the village without this path.
