Traffic lights out of phase causing unnecessary traffic buildup

Reported via desktop in the Poor operation or delays category anonymously at 12:32, Wednesday 6 November 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

The traffic on the A245 (Byfleet Road) heading towards Cobham Roundabout is becoming unbearable. The reason is that when the light turns green at the Seven Hills Road (B365) you can cross the junction due to the road ahead being blocked by traffic. The main cause of this is the change to the timing and phasing of the green light at the Cobham roundabout. If the green light was on longer it would alleviate the traffic backlog. This is obvious to anyone who has been sitting in this traffic for weeks on end. Please please get someone to address this
