The path is unlit, has become muddy and floods when it rains heavily.

Reported via mobile anonymously at 09:23, Thursday 31 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

There is a public footpath between Weydon Farm Lane and Oat Court in Wrecclesham. It goes behind an industrial unit and is lower than the neighbouring houses. It’s a really useful cut through to the train station and saves a few minutes off my journey and I’m sure many others who commute. However the path is unlit, has become muddy and floods when it rains heavily. During the winter I won’t use this path as it is too dark for me. Would it be possible to tidy and light the path to make it feel like a safer route to use in the winter? Also to sort the drainage, I have waded through it before not realising how bad it was.
