Dead Ash tree in Bunch Way

Reported via mobile in the Diseased or dead tree category anonymously at 15:02, Wednesday 16 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

There is a dead ash tree at the junction of the two sections of Bunch Way behind the garden at no. 14. I assume it has Ash die-back and I am concerned that it may fall down. The green leaves in the photo are from a wisteria plant that grows up the tree rather than being from the tree itself. There is also a largely dead conifer behind no. 14 and in front of no. 13. More generally, the verges behind, and to the side of, number 14 are very overgrown, including by a large silver birch and hawthorn, which overhang the road (and the garden of no14) and need pruning. Dustcarts and other large vehicles regularly bring down branches of these trees.
