Change in timing for pedestrians to cross

Reported via desktop in the Poor operation or delays category anonymously at 21:08, Wednesday 9 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Recently the traffic lights at the Waterden/York/London Roads junction were reset following the pedestrian crossing not being part of the rotation. Since then the time allocated for pedestrians to cross has been dramatically reduced. The previous timing allowed for pedestrians to cross from one corner of the junction to the diagonally opposite corner. It's now not possible to cross 2 roads without waiting for the full rotation.
