Holes in the footpath have enlarged due to storm water over the year causing erosion

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on a road - More than 150mm wide and more than 40mm deep category anonymously at 09:34, Tuesday 8 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Holes are on the public footpath that is between Ranmore Road (near St Martin's School) and South Lodge. Numerous holes, especially where the slope is greatest and a few metres down hill of the westwards turning into the woods coming from Yew Tree Acre house direction. Issue has been so over a year but in the last 1-3 months has got much worse. The photo shows the potential for someone to fall and be injured. The footpath is used frequently by dog walkers and those walking on the North Downs (Guildford-Dorking). See the scale (ruler with centimetre markings)
