Tree blocking street lighting on Purley Way

Reported via desktop in the Trees blocking light or affecting power, telephone, broadband lines or other services to your property category anonymously at 20:02, Monday 7 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Outside 18 and 20 Purley Way the tree is blocking street light from other side of the road. There is only one street light there and the lower branches growing all up the trunk and overhanging branches are blocking street light. This is now an issue with darker nights and is making the path outside these houses almost pitch black at night. This has been an issue for months but nothing has been done despite it being raised previously. The lower branches need cutting back as they have been on other trees and the tree requires maintenance.
