Footpath from Station Road to Belmont Road Leatherhead is unsafe at night due to the street ;lighting being blocked by over grown trees and hedges.

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown hedge blocking pavement category anonymously at 17:12, Sunday 6 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

The whole length of this alleyway has very poor lighting at night despite the individual lamps working. This is due to overgrown trees and hedging blocking the light. There are congregation meetings in the Kingdom Hall of Jehoivah's Witnesses in Emlyn Lane off Belmont Road and due to the demolition of Claire and James Houses, and the closure of the MVDC car park in Bridge Street, most of the congregation are having to park in Station Road and are using the alleyway to get to the Kingdom Hall. This alleway is currently hazardous and requires the trees and foliage to be cut back to enable the street lighting to work properly.
