Road Repair Subsidence

Reported via desktop in the Part of the road or pavement is flooded category by Ray Jennings at 15:48, Tuesday 1 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

Some 10 or so years ago, work on the water or gas pipes was done in Heathcroft Avenue that was never correctly completed. It was temporarily back-filled and surfaced but has never been re-inspected to finish the job. Consequently, over time, the works area has subsided by some 25-30mm relative to the normal road surface. There are actually two locations in the road, very close to the pinpoint on the map.
