Serious deterioration of Hare Lane from Rosemead Gust House towards Claygate

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on a road - More than 150mm wide and more than 40mm deep category anonymously at 12:26, Tuesday 1 October 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

There is not just one pothole. The whole stretch of road has serious deterioration of the road surface and edges, so much so that drivers stop as oncoming vehicles approach so as not to damage car and can then pull out past damaged road. This has been like this for months (it got noticeably worse after the railways bridge repairs and the heavy lorries used at the time) and is steadily degrading. The whole road needs to be resurfaced and evened out.
