Double yellow lines and corner post please

Reported via desktop in the Road safety improvement category anonymously at 12:44, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council 1 minute later.

The Pound House side of Board School Road has faded single yellow lines and a low kerb. Cars park on the pavement meaning pedestrians have to go into the road (cars drive very fast) to go round them. They also park across the entrance to our building which is a hostel and needs clear emergency access at all times. Double yellow lines would make the road safer for everyone. The corner of Bedser Close often has a car parked on it which prevents drivers coming out of Bedser Close having a clear line of sight and also blocks the dropped kerb for pedestrians. It would be helpful to have a plastic corner bollard like the rest of the road.
