Speeding cars and lack of bumps

Reported via desktop in the Concern about speeding traffic category anonymously at 17:27, Friday 27 September 2024

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

On various parts of ember lane there have been numerous accidents with drivers taking corners at 30mph or above.

At the junction of ember lane and imber park road and the drive, I’ve witnessed both near misses and accidents in 2024.

Children regularly walk to various schools and nurseries in this area and the traffic is going too fast (regularly above 30 mph which is too fast) and there is a lack of due care and attention at junctions especially noting the regular use of this road by school buses everyday.

I would suggest a speed reduction to 20mph and installation of large elevated traffic bumps on this junction and close to bends on the road.
