Long channel has nasty drop-off edge along busy passing place.

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.
On the summit of Hoe Lane, where you see signs for Knobfield, continue east down the hill and pass a driveway on the left.
Pass a small passing place and continue downhill whilst lane bends to left.
The second passing place is quite large, but on the right hand side of it, there is a nasty edge where erosion means when you pass other cars, tyres often drop off the tarmac and down several inches into a channel, potentially damaging wheels, tyres, and undercarriage. Please can this be filled in full with tarmac? It has got worse over time and I have now damaged a wheel.
Thank you.
